Whyever you would want to read about me, I don't know. Still, you're looking at my userinfo for a reason, and so I welcome you to my little corner of the internet. My name's Will, and I'm about as interesting as the contents of my cats' litter pan. In July I left my family and my childhood home, dropped out of school, and started a new life for myself in Lincoln, Nebraska. At the moment I'm living with my boyfriend Jack and our two cats Gvi and Vai. My rent is paid by Burger King, but I'm hoping to be free of that job within the next month or so. Someday I plan to go back to school and finish my physics degree, but I'm not certain when that will happen. There are a lot of things that will have to happen before I can do that.

I kicked off the New Year by coming out as transgendered to my boyfriend, who has been incredibly supportive and understanding so far. I've been doing a lot of thinking about my feelings and my place in my new home, and I've still got a lot more thinking to do. Since leaving behind the baggage and pressure that came with my family I've been able to resolve a lot of ongoing struggles in my mind. You could say that I've been spending a lot of time getting to know myself out here. So far I'm quite glad I met myself.

Be warned that my journal tends to leap around, and sometimes things happen suddenly. Mostly this is because I tend to skip steps, even when I'm plotting blog entries. Also, I'm never really content posting about something until I'm certain about the content, and when the topic is something I'm brooding over I can dither for weeks on a post. Okay, so that isn't entirely true, but it tends to be valid for things I consider to be more weighty matters. I keep telling myself that I'll be more open with my journal, but that hasn't happened yet and I don't expect it to any time soon.

As you can probably tell from my interests lists, I'm very much into music, math, and science. Before I left school I was an astronomy-physics major and the bass trombonist in my university's jazz band. When I moved I had to leave my trombone behind, alas, but I still love my music. Someday I would like to get back to it. My current obsession is Everquest, which I play pretty much every night with my boyfriend. We're in The Keepers on Tunare, if you're at all interested. I'm not the kind of guy that enjoys drinking, partying, or going to nightclubs. "Going out" for me is a nice, long walk downtown followed by Thai and ice cream. Oh, and occasionally a movie.

I hope you are able to take something from my crazed ramblings, even if it's only a bit of redpenning fun. If you are only here to make trouble though, please don't. I haven't really had problems with the LJ community to date and I would like to avoid killing my record.
